Khaya senegalensis is a species of tree in the Meliaceae family that is native to Africa.

Jacaranda Mimosifolia is commonly known as Mimosa Jacarnanda and it is an ornamental tree. Flowers are clusters of purple, fragrant, trumpet-shaped blossoms. There are also varieties available with white blossoms.

Lagerstroemia ‘Tonto’ (Crape Myrtle) is a small, upright, spreading, deciduous shrub with a profusion of large clusters, 6 in. long (15 cm), packed with crinkly, bright magenta flowers at its branch tips. Blooming from midsummer to early fall in an explosion of brilliant flowers smothering the foliage.
